Rob Acker brings to Reveal a broad range of experience in project development, redevelopment, management, consultancy, and new business development in the US, UK and Europe in single purpose and multi-facility projects and assets.  Rob has crafted, led, marketed and managed dozens of projects that offer destination-oriented retail, community services, entertainment, restaurants, office, residential, and hotel components.  His technical knowledge and management expertise spans the full "development process" spectrum from initial site selection and project concept through to construction and property/asset management.  A sampling of the range of product types Rob has been involved in includes:

Rob is a LEED Accredited Professional as designated by the US Green Building Council under its “New Construction and Major Renovations; V2.2” program.  Rob holds a MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Cincinnati and a degree in Restaurant, Hotel, Institutional, and Tourism Management from Purdue University. 

Rob is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a presenter/speaker in various forums on real estate topics such as:

David Huprich brings to Reveal his extensive real estate transaction experience as counsel to a variety of developers, investors and retailers (department stores, discount stores and supermarkets) on hundreds of shopping center transactions across the United States as well as in Canada and Taiwan.  His experience extends across all retail venues including power centers, lifestyle centers, mixed-use centers and enclosed regional malls.

David has dealt with the entire scope of shopping center legal work, including acquisitions, due diligence, sales, dispositions, private and public financing; equity joint ventures, development and re-development, distressed properties, as well as expansions, modification and use-conversions.

His clients during his career in private law practice have included JMB/Federated, Madison Marquette, Colonial Properties Trust, Jones Lang LaSalle, John Hancock, Prudential UK, Equitable Real Estate and BAE.  He has worked on such notable projects as Town Center at Boca Raton; Fashion Valley (San Diego); Fashion Show (Las Vegas); Coastland Mall (Naples); Sherman Oaks Fashion Square (Los Angeles); 278 Post Street (San Francisco);  Fountain Square West (Cincinnati), Fourth & Race (Cincinnati); 601 Pine Street (Seattle); Westwood Village (Los Angeles); and Penn Square (Oklahoma City). 

Prior to going into private practice, David was in-house counsel for Federated Department Stores (now Macy’s) for ten years.  In that capacity, he worked on numerous new store developments for both Federated and its developer subsidiary.

David has a BA degree from Muskingum College and a J.D. from Ohio State University.  He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has been a speaker at its National Law Conference.  Additionally, he serves on the planning committee for the ICSC Law Symposiums in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.  David is also the author of Chapter 8, “The Mechanics of Land Assembly” of the American Bar Association’s Book on Redevelopment.
